Most roof problems start small. A cracked tile, a lifted ridge cap or a rusted flashing lets in a trickle of water long before anything shows on your ceiling. By the time a stain appears inside, the water has usually been tracking through the roof cavity for months and the repair is bigger than it needed to be.

A repair starts with finding the actual cause, not the closest symptom. Water runs along battens and rafters before it drops, so the wet patch on your ceiling is often nowhere near the entry point. We get on the roof, work back from where the water lands, and show you what we find before anything gets quoted.

• Cracked, slipped and broken tilesIndividual tiles replaced with matching stock where it is available, and the surrounding bedding checked while we are up there.
• Ridge capping and pointingLoose ridge caps re-bedded on fresh mortar and re-pointed with a flexible compound that moves with the roof instead of cracking.
• Flashing and valleysRusted or lifted flashing around chimneys, walls, skylights and valleys replaced so the joins stop leaking.
• Storm and impact damageWind-lifted sheets, fallen branch damage and displaced tiles made watertight, with a full report on what needs replacing.
